all these Songs Are dear to me.... every one of these twelfth night cdrs become special, early 1980-87 ish like Even art and illusion (the song) is like rushing onstage in the more commercial style... the very rebellious rhythm stuff 1979-82 is best.... kbds and disco epics with guitar echo effect is psychedelic as... hellions from... great keyboard technology.

I remember the excitement when The Sentinel was released having seen the band live a few times before. I loved the album but was aware that there were tracks missing and it had been rumoured that it was to be a double album. To hear all these takes and works in progress takes me right back to the 80's and the buzz of all the new prog that was coming out back then. This is an absolutely essential purchase for any Pallas fan.

A truly GREAT! live album that captures all the classic tracks from Cocoon and the songs benefit really well by having a band with him, even though Pete Jones can even sound well good on his own. It's highly entertaining and truly captures what would of been a magical night and comes with an excellent honest recording that makes you feel like you are actually there yourself.
